III. Mezopotamya Health Days Congress

Dear Colleagues,
At the outset
I would like
to offer
sincere
congratulations
to the
committees
that organized
the first and second congress of
Mezopotamya
in Diyarbakir,
and on this
occasion also
announce that
the third congress will be held
in
Duhok- Kurdistan region/Iraq.
The 1st Mezopotamya Health Days was held in October 2009 and the 2nd one in October 2010 in Diyarbakir in which several colleagues from all over world took part. For the first time, several talks were presented by colleagues in Kurdish language as well as English and Turkish.
We believe that in such occasions, Kurdish language will improve and it will reach the place where it should be among the other languages of the world. Thus, by developing our language in different scientific fields we will further empower our national Kurdish identity.
At the end of the II congress, all of the participants unanimously agreed on the continuation of such congress and assigning Kurdistan region as a place for holding the next congress III.
The mission of the III congress is threefold: First, to introduce and establish a better social relationship and networking among Kurdish doctors and Kurdish friends in all parts of Kurdistan and all over the world. Second, to actively involve Kurdish language in health and scientific fields. Third, to initiate a sustainable platform for exchanging up to date information with regard to health and medicines.
The theme of the congress is "Strengthening Social Relationships among Kurdish Doctors and Adopting Kurdish Language in Medical Fields". The congress welcome participants to share their valuable information and articles about the main pivots of the congress (Atherosclerosis as a common disease, Mental Health Disorders, Accident and Emergency Medicine, and Rehabilitation).
I have the honor to invite you to the III Mezopotamya Health Days which will be held in Duhok governorate - Kurdistan region/Iraq at 28-29 October 2011. We look forward to your support and contribution in our congress. We will be pleased to see you in duhok city.
